Re: First beat little bit too early

I just set my chunk start time to measure 0 or a negative value. Keeps my measure numbers lined up with score.

Re: No Firefox Audio on 828x after Sonoma update RESOLVED

Glad you found a work-around, but it sounds like a PIA. So you have to switch it if you switch browsers?

Re: No Firefox Audio on 828x after Sonoma update

Have you tried playing with the configure speakers settings in Audio MIDI setup. Maybe Firefox is sending system audio to the wrong output. (I don't even know if tat's possible. I'm just thinking out loud here).

Hope you find a solution.

Re: No Firefox Audio on 828x after Sonoma update

Have you updated to the latest Firefox?

There's a setting that might be involved:

Firefox > Settings > Privacy & Security > Permissions > Autoplay Settings > Default for all websites.

Just a guess.

I can't imagine Facebook as being useful for the exchange of information in different categories like here. The format is all wrong.

Re: Sonoma 14.5 Official Release - False Alarm?

So why does DP need the mic turned on in the first place? It worked fine for so many years without it. What am I missing?

Re: Connecting Unbalanced FMC RNC Compressor to 828es?

I think that depends on the circuit configuration. The sample circuit in the Jensen paper I believe would do the opposite. The amplitude would be halved with the inverting amp shorted. The distortion, if any, would be due to load on the lower amp.

Re: Connecting Unbalanced FMC RNC Compressor to 828es?

It's also weird that most gear I've ever used that has balanced inputs, accepts TS cables with no issues. But there it clearly says something different. It's only the outputs that have this issue. If you look at the link I posted in my reply to James, at the beginning of the paper is a section call...

Re: Connecting Unbalanced FMC RNC Compressor to 828es?

There's always the transformer route, if you're so inclined:

Go to section 3 - Balanced to unbalanced interfaces.

Re: Is it possible to copy pitch editing data to a different track?

OK. So don't click in the pitch lane. Instead select an area in the pitch lane with the lasso tool, then paste. I think you can use the I-beam tool for the paste part, but I recall having inconsistent results in the past with that.

Re: Is it possible to copy pitch editing data to a different track?

You CAN paste pitch data into an audio track but it's tricky. The first thing is you can only select the material to copy with the lasso tool (pointer tool), not the I-beam tool. If you use the i-beam tool it won't work. The pitch data is copied and pasted, but the pitch segmentation is not. You'll ...

Re: DP 11.32

I just did a quick test of the consecutive note bug, and after 15 years (!!!) it is FINALLY effin' fixed. It works correctly in playback, and it works correctly in scrubbing now too-- which is important to me and my compositional workflow.... This is good news. I'll have to check it out. :D Your fr...
