Re: DP 9.52 with AutoTune

Just an update for anyone who might be interested: although Antares was a bit frustrating in that they refused to offer any information related to Digital Performer (because they don't "support" it), AutoTune Pro seems to be working very well with DP 9.52. I was able to get an upgrade from...

Re: DP 9.52 with AutoTune

AutoTune went 64bit in a paid upgrade to version 7. As Antares has always posted, it is not supported in DP and never has been . For that reason, they always recommend you download the demo first. BTW, it has never worked in the Windows version of DP since it supports VST3 and AU only. That said, A...

Re: DP 9.52 with AutoTune

I don't use AutoTune 6, but is it 64 bit? If not, that may be your problem. What a useless non-answer from Antares! Thank you for your response. And yeah, the reply from Antares was curt and almost passive aggressive, as if they have something against DP. Ah well, I will look into the 64 bit sugges...

DP 9.52 with AutoTune

My apologies if this has been previously discussed. I recently upgraded from DP 8 to DP 9.52. The only third party plugin that fails seems to be AutoTune Evo 6. I emailed Antares and they reminded me that Digital Performer has never been supported by Antares. I've been using AutoTune for years. I'm ...

Live Horns www.livenyhorns.com

Hey all, I've writing and composing for film and tv for a while now, and wanted to mention a great company I've been working with for a couple of years. They are called http://www.livenyhorns.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and they are some of the best horn players in N...

Re: Pops and spikes w/DP 6.02

Update: Well, after many, many hours of frustration, and troubleshooting, I've figured out the problem. I guess I'm not as good of a troubleshooter as I thought, because the answer is pretty simple: the awesome, free, Waves GTR solo plug-in that I downloaded recently seems to be the problem. Any tra...

MC..trust me..you don't need a thread..it is worth every penny....it sped up my work flow about ten times what it use to be..as with anything you have to practice and actually learn it...but it rocks..it is a bit pricey but still worth every dime Which one did you get, the one that lays over your k...

Yes, I've thought about that several times. I'll have to look for a thread to see if people like it. It looks really cool. I love shortcuts.

Tim wrote:Yeah... click on the 'G' to open the grid settings. There the Nudge amount can be set. A key command can be made for it, which I find quite useful.
There it is. Thanks, Tim!

Re: Set Nudge Amount

It is in the sequence editor top righ hand side. Page 301 in the dp-6 manual will give you the info you seek. The nudge thing puzzles me a little..I think when you set the amount it nudges by that amount every time you hit the left or right arrow key...?? I thought when you typed in a nudge amount ...

Set Nudge Amount

Can anyone either tell me, or tell me the page in the manual where I can find the "Set Nudge Amount" button, or menu or wherever it went (for DP 6). I actually found it the other day and now can't remember where it is.

Thanks.

Re: Pops and spikes w/DP 6.02

I suggest you google intersample peaks. Also between -20 and -16 dBFS equals 0VU. But your telling me -6 isn't hot so they you go. If your getting pops IN THE SAME PLACE EVERY TIME and your not running a lot of tracks and plugins it stands to reason that it's not your buffer. Yeah, I didn't think i...

Re: Pops and spikes w/DP 6.02

REading through your post I'd have to say that is has nothing to do with buffers. I'd say you've clipped the convertors somehow on the way in. How hot do you record? Sometimes clips can't be picked up on the waveforms. I don't record very hot at all--between -6 and -12. -6 is very hot. No it isn't.

Re: Pops and spikes w/DP 6.02

You might try loading that sequence into a new file in case it has become corrupted. I believe this is the workaround solution MOTU suggested to me a few years back when this happened. That time it was an isolated incident. With my current configuration it seems to happen more often. I'd love to kn...
