Re: Rewire with MIDI?
If you use Rewire any instrument you have going in Reason should appear as a potential output for your MIDI in DP. The first thing you have to do is create an audio track in DP with a Reason channel as the audio input and monitor enable that audio track. (The most straightforward example would be to...

Re: Changing the default folder for New projects
This is a good tip, thanks, man. The only thing I find with this is that, when you open a DP template (automatically "Save As..."), as well as changing the location, it also changes the name of your new file to the name of the file you drag. That could get confusing! Yes. One must be care...

Re: Changing the default folder for New projects
Jim, I know I'm not answering your question the way you hoped, but since DP doesn't have a saving location preference, the EASIEST and fastest way to do this is: Drag and drop a file right into the Save/Open window (anywhere in the white space underneath the Name column). What that will do is set t...

I must be overlooking something insanely easy... You would think...but no you're not. :( I posted on this topic a while back. http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=43861" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fal...

Re: Slow Down Audio & Bring Down Pitch Like In The Analog Da
The "Airy Speedster", that's the one I was trying to think of. That did pitch and tempo as a plug in DP. Doesn't seem to have current OS support.

Re: Slow Down Audio & Bring Down Pitch Like In The Analog Da
AUPitch doesn't slow it down, just reduces the pitch. I don't see how any insert plugin could do this unless it can also affect the playback sample rate, which seems unlikely. It had me fooled, you're absolutely right. You could definitely fake the turntable effect with this plug. I actually always...

Ah yes, I forgot about the time limit. Try the Apple AUPitch.

Re: Slow Down Audio & Bring Down Pitch Like In The Analog Da
Apple's AU pitch plug does the slow down turntable thing. It'll also probably work for the OP's needs. It should show up in DP for anyone with Garageband. Either that or DP's own Nanosampler should work. Drag the audio file onto the Nanosapler and play your keyboard. Don't think there's any need to ...

Re: DP Looses Menu Control
I've noticed disappearing sub menus lately. For example, the menu for "Open Recent" has occasionally been blank and the "Add Track" menu didn't show up a couple of times. It's fairly random and hasn't affected my workflow at this stage so I haven't noticed any patterns as to when...

Re: Rewire DP 7 and Reason version 6
I'm really loving V6. Makes so much sense that they combined Record with it. I jumped from Reason 4 to 6 and love the sampling record directly into devices, also Kong, The Echo etc.
The fact that it was a pay-what-you-want deal only sweetened it further.![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

It'll be good to have it like in Logic (be able to select all notes in selected pitch range by pressing a piano key in p/roll and mute by "m").
This can be achieved very easily with the "drum" editor.

Have you looked at the Trim plug? I originally started using the Trim for raising levels because of the limitations of Normalize.

Re: RP Delay $10 no brainer @ audiomidi
I look forward to your real-world feedback, as I despised all the audio demos and already have so many delays (but can one ever have "too many delays"?). I find the interface very cluttery also. And yeah it's a no-brainer at $10, so I'm making an exception (so far) more due to not liking ...

Seems "Record" will soon be a thing of the past...at least in name.
