I have not upgraded to DP 6 yet. I'm curious if anyone with both Logic 8 and DP 6 can tell me this: Does DP 6's improvements in dealing with VIs allow it host more VIs at a time than Logic 8? Any comparison info would be appreciated.
Thanks

DP 5 Issues Live on a Powerbook
I was using a Powerbook G4 1.6 with 512 of ram last week for live shows. The project had 14 chunks, each an individual song. Each chunk ran around 8 stereo tracks. Maybe four plugs (eqs, a compressor, and a verb). No VIs or V-racks. Things worked great, but towards the end of the week, DP would frea...

Sync DP with Finale 2006
Is anyone successfully syncing DP with Finale? I have tracks in DP that I would like to play back with the strings I am scroring in Finale. I know I could create a SMF of the Finale parts and fly it into DP, but I don't really want to go to the trouble. Can I hit play in Finale and DP go with it?

Blue, any tips for sequence window?
I use it in Coloidated view where only 1 window is allowed in the center pane so that I can quickly flip between Tracks View, Sequence, or Edit view. Can I have two identical consolidated windows maybe?

Sequence View
I switch between the Sequence view and Tracks view often. Say I have 25 tracks in the project. I may choose to only view 5 of those in the Sequence view. I then move to the track view and work with another track or inadvertantly highlight tracks. Or, maybe I've selected all for a bounce...when I go ...

Me too
I also logically believe that it would create additional disk activity...but MOTU Tech Support said yes. Anybody else have a comment on this. Tech support said that DP is designed to work with it on.

Serat Pitch 'n Time
Is there anything out there that works as well as pitch n' time and also works in DP? I am looking to pitch shift completed tracks of full band by as much as 4 semi tones.

Drive Setup for DP
I always thought that for the best performance you should not choose "Journaled" when formatting your audio drive. Is this wrong? I spoke with MOTU tech support today and they said that Journaling should be on. How do you set up your audio drive?
