Okay, I spent some more time playing with the work priorities. I played with a 36 track mix with about 40 plug ins on a Dual 1.8 G5. I usually work at HIgh with a buffer setting of 1024 (for mixing)... everything sounds great. CPU meter at 30 - 40%. Step the buffer setting incrementally down to 256....
