Short answer is yes. However, you cannot use your ultralite with Pro Tools. Pro Tools requires digi hardware.

But they DID let you know. MOTU were the ones that took out those ads. They were the ones that gave Sweetwater the OK to tell you about their new product. Yes, MOTU's website is hardly ever updated but do you really need to see the same info there that you just read in the print ad? :wink:

But that's a different they. MOTU didn't tell Apple to stop using PCI X.

All the NAMM reports I've read said PPC for Q1 and UB later this year...

Yes, try reseating the ram and see if the problem goes away (and stays away). You might also want to try swapping the two positions. If you swap them and you have an intermittant 1gb of ram then you could have a problem with the slot.... You may also try running apple hardware test to see if one of ...

What are your buffers set at? I had one particular song that was quite large (30+ tracks) with a bunch of plugs. I had to make sure my buffers were set at 1024 before I opened it or I would get a permanent beach ball when it was trying to load. Of course, I'm using a laptop so I don't have anywhere ...
