Re: Bounce to disk with VI's
Well, I've solved my own issue. Under "Bounce Settings" there is the option: "Bounce includes Audio Patch Through". I'm guessing it got turned off when I reinstalled DP.

Bounce to disk with VI's
I have VIs (Kontakt) assigned to stereo audio tracks that I set to input for monitoring purposes. In the past, I could bounce to disk leaving those tracks on input and they would be included in the bounced mix. I reinstalled DP (in an effort to resolve an unrelated issue) and now those tracks are no...

Re: EW Symphonic Choirs Platinum and DP9
Hi Paul, yes, I have had that happen to me as well, but it's been some time and I don't remember what I did to resolve it (sorry). You've probably tried several things by now, but unloading and reloading the voices might help. The program is fairly memory intensive, so having lots of RAM in your com...

Re: DP 9.1 sustain pedal not audible during recording - RESO
I had this problem earlier in the year. It was acknowledged by MOTU and seemed to get fixed with a new release (9.12 maybe?) but now it's back again with the same symptoms as before. If anyone is using a version in which this doesn't occur please let me know!

Re: EW Symphonic Choirs Platinum and DP9
I'm using EW Symphonic Gold Choirs with DP9.12 with no problems. When using EWSCG there should be a fourth menu in the Player window after the "MIXER" menu called: "WORDBUILDER". (This only appears after loading a voice.) If you don't see that, something is amiss. A couple of sug...

Folders for New Input Bundle
I frequently create new input bundles from the TRACKS window. Clicking in the INPUT column and selecting New Bundle reveals every available input from, say, Ableton, Reason, Kontakt, etc. This creates a long list. I frequently have to scroll past 64 inputs of Ableton and others to get to the inputs ...

Re: Pre-Gen MIDI Controller Bug in DP 9.1
So, just downloaded 9.12 and it seems to address the controller issue for me. It does list that specific problem in the "Enhancements" (love that wording) section of the read me file.

Re: DP 9.1 NEW BUG while punching into record
Yep, a well reported and confirmed bug. MOTU confirmed it in multiple Tech-Links. Turning off Pre-gen works for some: This could be confusing for someone. People are posting that turning off Pre-gen can be a solution, but to be clear, there are workarounds, but there is no way to "turn off&quo...

Re: Pre-Gen MIDI Controller Bug in DP 9.1
There are a lot of references here to Pre-gen. My understanding was that Pre-gen related to the rendering of non-record enabled VI tracks. I started a new empty sequence with no VIs, and with a single MIDI track routed to an external synth and I still have the problem. I was also unable to reproduce...

Re: DP 9.1 sustain pedal not audible during recording
So, I’ve had a chance to spend some time with this and Babz is definitely on to something. It does seem to be related to punching in on an existing track. Recording on a clean track any where in the time line produces no issues, which may be why some people are not reporting a problem. Setting event...

Re: DP 9.1 sustain pedal not audible during recording
I've started a ticket with MOTU (maybe someone else has done this as well) - we'll see what happens.

Re: DP 9.1 sustain pedal not audible during recording
Hey everyone, this is NOT a sustain pedal hardware issue! DP 9.1 records and plays back the sustain controller #64 info just fine, and that can be verified in any of the view modes. The sustain pedal does not affect the sound during the record process. You can open up a view window and see the contr...

Re: DP 9.1 sustain pedal not audible during recording
I haven't had time to investigate this completely, and I duplicated the problem exactly once, but does anyone know if it makes any difference if the plug is in pre-gen or not? Also, what plug are you using? When I encountered this I was using Kontakt in pre-gen mode. Pre-gen can't be turned off in ...

Re: DP 9.1 sustain pedal not audible during recording
Just updated to 9.1 and I noticed when I play piano with sustain pedal it seems to work fine...but when I press record, the sustain pedal stops working. When I play back the recording, sustain pedal can be heard. Very annoying because I can't hear the sustain pedal working during recording~ Anybody...
