I've had the same problem with CPU spiking on an older G4 - 800 MHz, 1 GB RAM. I've contacted MOTU several times about this problem. They tell me to either: A. Buy a faster computer or B. Record at 16-bit, 44.1kHz. That's the same answer I get everytime. Ironically, I still have no problems using Lo...
