I think 11.32 fixed this issue for me! I don't think my tool icons have disappeared once since updating. Fingers crossed it sticks. It really speeds things up being able to see the tools.

Agreed. That's pretty outrageous that Opus requires an active internet connection, and for the iLok server to be up and running in order to run! FWIW The EW Installation Center now launches for me as does Opus in standalone as well as the plugin....so presumably the iLok server is running again? Btw...
