Re: What happened...serious crap.
I've tried to go back in history but DP will "unexpect. quit" every time. MOTU tech supporrt has no answer, they only suggest that the file is corrupt. Looks like I'll have to re-beat detect the drums and edit all over again.

Re: What happened...serious crap.
nope, chunks is not the issue. What i'm looking at is exactly as though I selected all soundbytes in the SB window and then had them removed frm list. The DP file itself is about 1.2mb, which shows all those edits and my work is in the file, just no soundbytes... Unless someone else has had this pro...

Re: What happened...serious crap.
I never even use chunks...it's not my method of working. I'll check it though, but would the soundbytes window be empty?

Re: What happened...serious crap.
Here's the deal. The Audio Files Folder still contains the soundbites. The Song file's soundbites window shows nothing in this file. Sure I could drag the soundbites back in, but this would not get me back to the last step of hours of editing etc. --also, I'm not really sure what files I used. All h...

What happened...serious crap.
I opened a song I had been beat editing (drums) for a while last night. I saved and closed it to continue this morning, but when I opened it...nothiing was there. All the soundbites are not even listed in the SB window. I looked at the history...it shows my work...lots of edge edits etc... This is t...

Re: 48k to 44.1, which is the best way to convert?
For future projects that will end up on CD, record at 44.1k. 48k is not going to make your record sound any better than 44.1k. In fact, it will make it worse becasue of sample rate conversion or just having to go out through some coonverters to get it to 44.1. It just makes no sense to use 48k unles...

Re: Can DP 4.5 Beat Detection work with Multitrack drums?
Yes, it does. Protools works a bit better for this purpose, but I do it just fine with DP 4.52. The Smooth Edits feature is a joke at the moment, hopefully this will be solved in an update...sooner than later. Once, you get it in your head the best way to do it and how...it is perfect for saving hou...

What is the shortcut/key command for selecting new takes for multiple tracks while record enabled? Thanks. I'm using DP 3.11
