I own 2 of them and have used them w/ various MIDI Ed/Lib software (Prophet 10, Moog LP - both SoundTower, PolyMoon Edit and SysEx Librarian) and have no issues. Mac Studio, OSX 13.6).

I have always had VST2/3 disabled on the plugins preferences. Seemed not to matter. That said... I start DP today multiple times and it comes right up w/ no crashes. Of course, I've seen this behavior before where it works until there is another UADx 'patch'.

I definitely *had* this issue w/ Mac Studio M1 Max, 828es. Since Ventura 13.4.1 it has stopped. I shutdown the computer first, then the 828es due to habit. My old Mac Pro and 828mk2, I *had* to shut off the computer first or MOTU audio would go berzerkers.

I guess what I'm saying is, I think the dev community has moved on and is using AU for MIDI applications. Hmmm... I disabled the UADx Pultec plugin suite and DP on Ventura is behaving a LOT better. No more crashing, just occasional crash on startup. Before... I literally instantiate a UADx plug and bam... crash.
