i've started to record live shows this year. Everything was pritty adolecent untill I got an interface. Eversince I actualy listen to my recordings now. Tweakheadz.com is a great site.

How much to charge for live recording
I have a decent protible multitrack Daw, (20ins) pre amps, compressors, mic ect. I'm already signed up to record some shows but am having a hard time estimating a price. Any thoughts on how to figure a rate?

Audio Desk 96khz to cd
Hi guys ON audio desk I recorded at 96khz, then bounbced into 16bits to soundbites window and exported to Itunes. I burned it to a cd and it plays slow. ONce converted the sample rate is somewhere around 52. So how do I turn my 96khz recordings into cd redable format. Thanks

ON location recording coasts
Anyone have an idea of how to judge the rate I would charage to record a live show. My set up has a ten mic cappability with another eight analog ins. I am recording with audio desk on to an external hard drive. My g4 is pumped and accomponied by a focusrite mic pre and a motu 828mk2. ANy thoughts? ...

Hey david I am just starting to get into laptop onlocation recording with my g4, an mkll and I'm thinking about a focusrite pre amp. Do you have any info that might make me think differently or detur me from wanting to use this recording technique. any info would be great thanks

Just to add, I just learned that you could hook up the ADA8000 to the back adat inputs of a 828mkii. Giving you ten mic ins and leaving 8 1/4 ins to do direct bass, ect. It seems that a powerful pwbk, 828mkii, ADA8000, and a few other small things could handle many different on location recording se...
