I've since loaded Mach 5 on to my PowerBook G4/1GB, and it works fine there (still in DP 4.12, but the OS is 10.3.

I just can't belive that this is solely a processor power or RAM issue - the difference wouldn't be that great, would it?

I just got Mach 5, and am running it in DP 4.12 on a G4/500 with OS 10.2.8. I'm trying to run the tutorial sounds, and it takes forever to load a sample. At first I thought the program had frozen, but it turns out it just takes a long, long time - more than 5 minutes just to change from one sample t...
