If I have the stereo outs of a Motu 828mkII going to an external processor and have the returns going to Mic1 and Mic2, is there a way to monitor only the Mic1 and Mic2 channel inputs? Right now, I'm hearing the stereo outs + the 2 Mic inputs together.

I have a Motu 828mkII and a Mackie 1604vlz line mixer. A couple of the faders on the line mixer make that infamous while noise sound when I move them.

Can anyone suggest if this can be easily corrected?
