I did the upgrade. Still no softknob automation with the VC. Connecting with standard MIDI works great. I created a motu profile for the Virus TI. Email me if you want it!

thanx. I really appreciate the skinny puppy referece. We are using the Virus for most of the sounds and a Electribe ESX-1 for drums and some roland XP-30 sounds as well.

I've got the same issue. I'm all filled up ins/outs in the 828mkll and want to patch the kaos pad into the inserts.
How do you control the volume?
How do I specificy which channels are wet or dry?
