Regarding the Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 (USB C) adapter, I've found a much cheaper source for this on ebay. Amazon is not a good source for adapters. I've got an i9 chip, MPB and have the same problem with the UL MK3/hybrid.
I'm still working on solving this problem but I expect this to be a driver issue.

I have the UltraLite MK3/hybrid and when installing the newest driver (ver. 89555), the driver does not work, I can not access the MK3 whatsoever.

Anyone else with this issue?
