I have just got my M1 mac mini (big sur) and having the exact same issue, but only sometimes. When it sleeps overnight it can see the m4 on waking. But if I leave my computer for an hour or two during the day this is when it doesn't seem to recognise it. It also happened on my old intel MBP (catalin...
