I figured out. The driver didn't become active even after installing the Mac driver and restarting my Mac. However, the activation of the new driver required unplugging and replugging my M4.

I've successfully installed the M4 Mac loopback driver (the MOTO app says "system extension version 2.0.0+87935 installed"). However, Logic Pro X reports exactly the same latency numbers as before when my M4 was used without the MOTU driver. How do I tell whether the Mac driver is active? ...

M4 disappears after wake-up

My M1 Mac Mini running the latest Big Sur doesn't recognize my M4 after wake-up. This is odd because the M4 stays on even after my Mac goes into sleep. The only way to get the M4 reappear as a sound device is unplug and replug it (powering it off and on again doesn't work). I'm not sure if this happ...

When I set one input channel to MON, and then adjust the input monitor mix between input and playback, there a bit of clicking while adjusting. It sounds like the volume levels of both the input and playback are snapping to new values abruptly (as opposed to smooth analog fading). It is more notice...
