Re: What's the word on Ventura and DP and common plug ins?
Hi, A simple search for Noteperformer and the Wallender home page will show that the product is alive! In fact it has recent upgrades. It now works with a variety of sample libraries in addition to its own. I think it is great! Extremely easy to set up and sounds good out of the box. (The Finale Def...

Keyboard Maestro and DP's Split Notes - Anyone tried it?
I'd like to make a macro that takes a staff of four note chords and splits it into Fl Ob Cl Bsn with one click. Did you ever make such a macro?

Hi bleach,
I'd love to see your video but Dropbox says it's gone.
Also I'd like to see the actual KM code.

Control Panel Kills Toolbar!
When using DP9's preferences, you canpop the Control Panel from the Consolidated window. But you mp ;onger can see the Toolbar! The Toolbar usually is connected to the Control Panel - except when you pop the CP from the Consolidated Window. Is there a fix for this? Here's me losing my Toolbar! https...

DP Keeps Reverting to Points Display when editing CCs
Thinking I must be hitting s shortcut key, I went to the COmmands window and removed the shortcut keys for the display as points command. I keep switching to "bars". Not a big deal, until you do it every day, for years, on every track. In every project... DP9 Keeps reverting to %22points%2...

Re: DP 11.22 is the crashiest app I have.
I concur on the crashines of DP 11.22 and so use DP9 until I hear back that some of the many serious bugs I have reported are fixed. I never record audio but use a great many VIs most hosted in Vienna Ensemble Pro. The exact sam project with the same VIs active cradhes reliably in 11.22 and never in...

Thanks baywater - That works to select an adjacent track.
Still looking for a library of commands like the ones Applescript and Automater can use on a Mac.

Re: Can Automator or Some Progam Make a Sequence of DP Commands?
Thanks James - Keyboard Maestro is a worthy successor to Quickeys! Now the limitation seems to be from 'inside the house"! Does DP have a "library" of commands [that some programs have] that Automator on the Mac needs to access for its work? Applescript used to use this 'libary' also....

Can Automator or Some Progam Make a Sequence of DP Commands?
Thanks James for the fast response! I am glad you heard of Quickeys and could recommend a 21st Century replacement. I am diving into it now!

Can Automator or Some Progam Make a Sequence of DP Commands?
Long, long ago, in a DAW far away (Vision) I made a macro program (in "QuicKeys") that could, with one keystroke, execute a series of commands that help me automate some composing/arranging maneuvers I needed to do. For example,: 1. Select Track 1 which has 6 note chords 2. Split the notes...

Can selected tracks have their color automatically changed so each track is a different color?
I know selectred stracks can all be changed to the same color.
Considering the wide variety of 'skins' changing so many aspects of the GUUI I thought maybe this rfeature might be buried somewhere in DP.

Mod Wheel Data in track suddenly does not affect the virtual instrument -but my MIDI Keyboard does!
Who has solved this problem?: All of a sudden....Mod Wheel data in the track does not affect the BBC orc plugin inside Vienna Ensemble Prio (run locally). if I record enable that track, the virtual instrument DOES respond to my MIDI keyboard's Wod Wheel. Usual suspects led nowhere: Was automation se...

Re: Quickscribe: Where is the 8va (octave up) symbol and dotted line?
Hi, Please add these as feature requests at motu.com. I have been doing so for years! It is absurd not to have these. Also needed is the ability to cvhange clef mid staff. Play both hands high on the piano, then both hands low. Look at the nightmare fror playback or editing that QS creates! Send a c...

Re: Does new UVI Workstation not open MachFive instruments?
I made sure my latest Mac uchase was not M1 to avoid exactly this sort of incompatibility. Having accumulated a great deal of software ;baggage" over the years, I count "upgrading" and replacing obsoleted software against any hoped-for "speed increases" a new chip or archite...
