Re: Exporting MIDI Selection to Specific Tracks
Yeah. The o my other thing you could do is use the Mute tool and mute the MIDI notes you DON’T want to record, then do the bounce, and repeat the process. Ahh! I didn't know that was an option! Is there a quick way to do this? Also – what does your average DP user do when they have questions about ...

Re: Exporting MIDI Selection to Specific Tracks
Actually not sure if that’s the answer. I’m still a little confused about what you’re attempting to do. Thanks for trying to help out! Basically, imagine a single MIDI track with a range of higher/lower voices. I want to be able to just drag a box around certain notes, hit record, and record just t...

Exporting MIDI Selection to Specific Tracks
Hello everyone, I have one MIDI file with four voices, and I'm trying to find an easy way to export a specific note MIDI selection to its own track. I have duplicated the one MIDI track with all the voices four times, and in each MIDI file, have erased all the other voices except the correct one. So...

Re: renderSlice 1151 -10876 Error
Ah – makes sense. Yes, I'm on the Apple Silicon M1 chip. Thank you for posting the Native Instruments links. I had not seen those. I guess I'm confused as to why this is a M1 chip issue. The standalone version of FM8 opens up just fine, and I can even load up the plugin in a different DAW. It's spe...

Re: renderSlice 1151 -10876 Error
I don't know what system you're running, but I get this error on some plugs that are Intel only when I'm running DP in AS mode without Rosetta. Reaktor come to mind, and generates the exact same error. I ran this by MOTU when I first got my M1 machine, and MOTU confirmed this. +1 I'm currently on m...

renderSlice 1151 -10876 Error
Hello everyone, I'm trying to load up FM8 1.4.1 on the most recent version of DP 11, but when I do, I receive this error: "renderSlice 1151 -10876" I did some research and it /seems/ it has something to do with macOS Monterey + DP compatibility or that it is being worked on. The post I fou...

Re: MIDI Incorrect On/Off Messages
Those notes in the original example look very short, and possibly delayed. There is a known quirk with DP where at a given "tick" It will read note-on's before it reads note-off's. That is my theory, anyway. The symptom that I observed was if I had a series of notes of the same pitch wher...

Your attachments don't appear. You have to post them somewhere, and then put a URL in your message. First thing I'd check is if there are any MIDI filters on that might mess up the data. Fixed the link. Don't know why they would be on by default, but will check out the filters. Checked the filters,...

MIDI Incorrect On/Off Messages
Hello everyone, I'm currently working on a project in which I am sending MIDI data from Pure Data, over the "Interapplication MIDI" setting, into a MIDI track in Digital Performer 9. The main issue here is that DP seems to be misunderstanding the note on/off messages, and the MIDI informat...
