Two things: Have you installed the firmware update released last month? MOTU has their own drivers for Windows. You’ve told us how you want to use it but is this the best way? Changing any latency parameters has no effect. It's not a latency issue - latency wouldn't cause the entire DAW to just hang.CharlzS wrote:In the M4 Control Panel do you have 'Use lowest latency offsets' checked? I have been experiencing several issues when using ableton live with the Motu M4 and the ASIO driver. Primarily the software will lag, note this is not latency or sound crackle, rather the software slows down considerabley to the point of being unusable.
