Is there a way to cross fade multiple edits at once?
I spend so much time crossfading merges edges when editing drums. For certain things I have to nudge every single beat. Is there a way/command to highlight an area with multiple merged audio edges and create crossfades between them all at once?

Re: Control Surface
I was in the same boat with a Mackie control but it was starting to shows signs of collapse. The SSL looked great but I don't think it integrates well with DP. When DP 11 came out and kind of "designated" the ICON line as their de-facto control surfaces, I was sold. I've had it for about a...

Re: MAC STUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Going with a 4TB drive will be enough to handle all desktop apps and I'm fine using external storage for projects/audio and Kontakt. Stupid question but will DP 11 be compatible with the M1 Ultra chip …÷ No reason to believe it's not. DP 11 is compatible with the M1 Max — the Ultra is two of them f...

Re: MAC STUDIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is both great and somewhat annoying news. As one that's been doing everything I can to keep my 2014 trash can operating (any OWC upgrade I could do, has been done), I've been waiting for an M1 MacPro that I could get a good 6-7 years out of. While it will feel like a bit of a compromise getting...

Re: DP11 is here!
They literally just stopped me from throwing up my hands and switching to Logic. The Icon Control Surface integration is the clincher for me. I'm on a 2013 Mac Pro that I upgraded with more RAM and bigger drive and while my new studio is being constructed, I was just going to keep everything in stor...

Re: ICON Platform M+
I'm not in my studio but It seemed like you have to click on the timeline and then push and turn the jogwheel (or some stupid pointless time consuming step like that that negates its convivence). I did it a few times and gave up. Your mileage may vary. I'm curious, as DP's market share demise is di...

Re: ICON Platform M+
Thanks for the feedback everyone. It seems like this will pretty much work for what I need it to do. Quick follow up, will the jogwheel at least "advance" measures in the tracks window? That's pretty much all I use it for on the Mackie. I've heard rumblings that UA has some kind of control...

ICON Platform M+
Apologies in advance for another Control Surface thread. As Digital Performer is still subjugated to the "Island of Misfit Toys" among control surface manufacturers, I wanted to see if anyone used an ICOn Platform M+ with DP10? I'm about to throw my old Mackie Control across the studio and...

DP 10 and SSL UF8
Hello everyone, I saw one other topic on this but didn't really address my question. I'm starting to think my Mackie Control (the old grey one) is going to hit the dust very soon. Like many, I've been underwhelmed with what's available control surface wise, in the $1000ish and under range. I've trie...

Re: Softube Console 1 Fader, doesn't control Faders in DP?
Thanks for that info CFW. I was actually just looking at the Icon stuff yesterday and wanted to find out how it played with DP. It still amazes me that MOTU won't create something of their own and solve this problem for us. It's not like they don't produce hardware. I'll add the Icon M+ to my very s...

Softube Console 1 Fader, doesn't control Faders in DP?
Hello all, created a new account since my previous one was associated with an abandon email address. My Mackie Control (the darker grey model) has become too glitchy and I'm in the market for a new controller. Not a fan of touchscreen for fader moves, so Slate is out. I primarily use my control surf...
