Re: NEW AlphaTrack Installer - WORKS WITH SIP ENABLED!!
Had just found this wonderful thread, reanimated my little Tranzport (gathering dust in the corner) and tried the new driver - bingo, works like a charm in native mode with Live, with Cubase Mackie Control and in iTunes - all under macOS Sierra (10.12.1) on a MacMini (late 2012)!!! Thanks folks! He...

Re: MOTU 8282mk3 FW LOUD POPS!
Hey guys!
Especially to all of you who experience the same problem with me.
I talked to Brian from MOTU (who is very kind and supportive) and told me that my problem is electricity related and should get a power conditioner!
Theodore.

Re: MOTU 8282mk3 FW LOUD POPS!
FYI - The Motu 828mk3 DOES have USB! Sometimes you will get pops and clicks due to buffer setting issues in your DAW. Hey mdee! The 828mk3 "HYBRID" of course has both USB and FireWire. I own the first gen. 828mk3 which is ONLY FireWire. I will agree with you that sometimes clicks, pops an...

Re: MOTU 8282mk3 FW LOUD POPS!
A voltage regulator is indicated here. A UPS may or may not have one built in, the same goes for power conditioners. My studio is quite noisy, electrically. I solved it with a combination of a Furman PL8C conditioner to remove the 60Hz line noise and star-quad audio cables that took care of the res...

Re: MOTU 8282mk3 FW LOUD POPS!
On the other hand, you really should get a UPS for your system, regardless, to protect your data and equipment. So, unless the conditioner rental is free or close to it, you might just want to spring for the UPS and see if it helps. Hi Marcus! Indeed! Currently I am saving money in order to get a U...

Re: No audio from 828mk3 interface!! HELP!!!!
Hi there! You should route your master output according to where you connected your monitors, for example analog outs 1-2. You should tell Motu Audio Setup about this in the Main Out and Main Out Return. The hiss maybe is coming from your guitar's or bass's pickups especially if they are single coil...

Currently I am saving money to get an APC UPS and a Furman Power Conditioner perhaps one from the merit range!

Re: MOTU 8282mk3 FW LOUD POPS!
Does this happen anywhere you might be? Or have all these tests been done in a single location? The reason I ask is that power brownouts can also cause this to happen (pops, squeals, whistles) from the box losing sync due to a power fluctuation. The only cure is either be in a different location or...

Re: MOTU 8282mk3 FW LOUD POPS!
Hey guys! May I have your attention please? :D I tried and changed my old FW cable with a new one. With the a new cable I was fine for two days. After these two days passed the clicks and pops came back. Then I tried and connected to my wall outlet an external outlet that filters the AC current and ...
