Re: one more quick scribe question if you please
Ctrl+Shift+T opens the Track Selector window, here you can toggle visibility of individual tracks. As stubbsonic said, if you need to see a large number of staves at once you may need to adjust your zoom settings.

Re: that syncing feeling...
I'll give it a shot. Fair warning, I've never tried syncing devices like this. But as a guy who likes both being helpful and learning new things, I have tried to look up some answers for you. It sounds like you want the Roland to transmit MIDI Machine Code (MMC) to Digital Performer to have hardware...

Re: Anyone using a PC build with Skylake?
I've got a PC build a year or two old with an Ivy Bridge i5 and it's been working great for me. I can't imagine any reason a newer architecture would cause any problems, so I'd say go for it.

Re: Tempo change and soundbites
Sorry this response is late, hopefully you solved the problem already. In case you still need help, find the "Lock" column in your tracks window. Clicking on this will lock the track to real time (or frame time, depending on your working environment) instead of measures, you should then be...

Re: any way to play CD while DP8 is up?
I see this post is a few weeks old, but in case you haven't got it yet I'll try to help. I had the same problem when I first got DP set up, and it was because Windows had installed a driver for my audio interface and was using that instead of the driver from the manufacturer. You might check some ot...

Re: Moving Measures Relative to Frames
Update: Problem solved. Realized I could use the transport to move the wiper exactly 4 measures back, see the frame time at that location and enter that as the chunk start time, not so bad after all.

Re: DP8-multiple MIDI tracks...can they be renamed?
Renaming tracks is done by Alt clicking the name of the track, you can use the the up and down arrow keys to move to the previous or next track. Press enter to finish renaming. Hope that's what you were looking for.

Re: Sonivox Film Score Companion VST plugin issues?
I've never used that particular VST, but on my particular system for whatever reason it seems a majority of my VST plugins fail DP9's inspection and are by default disabled. When I go to the Audio Plug-ins panel in preferences and manually enable them they load and work just fine. I'd test this out ...

Moving Measures Relative to Frames
I've been at this particular problem for a few days and have not been able to find a solution anywhere although I imagine it must be simple. In a scene I am scoring I need measure 4 to land on a specific frame, but the tempo of the music can not be changed. I know I can adjust the chunk start time, ...
