Ok...I was able to make some progress.
Under the quick setup menu, I selected "Stage IO."
I was then able to change my sample rate in the Audio MIDI Setup menu.

Looks like I'm having issues with all DAWs now.
I can't seem to change the sample rate off 48k over AVB.
It's greyed out in the browser manager and I can't change it via Audio MIDI Devices on my Mac.

Studio One V3 and MOTU 8M sample rate issue
I'm demoing Studio One V3 with my MOTU 8M and experience sample rate issues. I want to run a session at 96k, but the sample rate is locked to 48k on the 8m despite me setting the sample rate to 96k in Studio One. I will say, Studio One is the only issue I have problems with. Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase...

I have a 8m and have experienced lock up with the ethernet port on my 2012 Macbook Pro. No issues with Thunderbolt.
