i do use them in another house i have. they work fine in that location. the power is on the same circuit and it is an easy way to extend wifi range. i just dont know the tech behind them. are they a straight link or fo they contain a network switch? dunno.

Using the AVB hub to connect MOTU audio interfaces can one send MIDI clock as well as audio sync?

I'd like to MIDI sync to copies of ableton live, is this possible without a MIDI cable?

I have an 828x and have connected it to my mac with a thunderbolt cable and the sound card is not recognised. I get no indication that anything is plugged in.

When plugging it in with USB everything works fine. Has anyone else had any issues like this?

This worked fine. I connected the two soundcards via optical and after some routing in the cueMix software have an excellent stable solution.
