Re: Word Clock Issue - via ADAT and Coax.
Hi dazzjazz, You should not need to utilize a BNC cable for clocking. What sample rate are you running? Would you ming opening a support ticket with us so that we can request some more system information to look into all possible causes? https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new Best regar...

Re: Word Clock Issue - via ADAT and Coax.
Hi dazzjazz, Were you able to resolve the issue with clicks in your audio? If you were not, can you tell me which interface do you have selected as the playback device for the DAW? Which version of Focusrite Control do you have installed? It will be ideal to confirm your settings in Focusrite Contro...

Re: Audio Express only receiving spdif on left channel
Hi Blameless, You are correct in that the SPDIF Digital connection is a Stereo output. When using SPDIF, if you are only connecting a single Mic, Line, or Inst you will only get the left channel of the stereo pair. With that said, you can also get the DI out as well via SPDIF which could give you a ...

Re: Totally bizarre software/hardware problem
HI JSmith1234567, The behavior you described does sound a bit more DAW related but it will be good to open MixControl and go to: File > Clear All Settings and then go to File > Restore Factory Defaults. At that point does the clipping persist in your DAW? If it does can you tell me what version of M...

Hi James,
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Yeah, that was something that Liquid Mix lovers seemed to take pretty hard, but hopefully there will be a future product that puts a smile on you guy's face!
Best regards,

Re: 2408 MKII format conversion problem
Hi Bayswater, Sorry to hear that you are having issues, but I am happy to help! When syncing the Scarlett 18i8 to your external devices, it should be able to lock to the device connected via ADAT as long as the other device sends a sync signal via ADAT. Since you mentioned MixControl crashing, this ...

Re: Motu 828x thunderbolt windows driver
Hi Donkles, This makes sense as to why audio will not pass. If both devices are on Internal Sync then they are not in Sync with each other. If you keep the Octopre on Internal Sync and switch the MOTU Sync to ADAT, you should be able to pass audio from the Octopre to the MOTU. Once you are able to t...

Re: Motu 828x thunderbolt windows driver
Hi Donkles, Sorry to hear that you have been having such a rough time connecting your Focusrite device to your audio interface. It sounds like your a using a Octopre Mic Pre unit, is that correct? If so, this device does not connect to your computer but instead is a analog mic pre unit that can pass...

Re: Labeling Preamps...magnets? tape?
Hi Wonder, I would not recommend placing magnets on the front of your unit near the VU Meter. While a small magnet may not cause damage, magnets are able to negative effect the meter. It can possibly magnetize the meter, or bend the needle which can alter the responsiveness of the meter. If you have...

Re: Novation (Zero) SL MkII Pick-Up aka Soft Take-over with
Hi MediaComposer88, I understand what you are trying to do! In order to achieve this, you will need to set the pot pick-up settings within your DAW. This way the automation is not written again until you reach the pick-up point. Since the Controller only sends MIDI data, it is sending MIDI data to y...

Re: Novation (Zero) SL MkII Pick-Up aka Soft Take-over with
Hi MediaComposer88, When using Automap (even in Advance Mode) CC#11 is scripted to control the expression pedal. So it seems that DP may be overwriting your assignment pop pick-up because of this. Since you mentioned that other CC#s do function correctly, this further suggests that is what is happen...
