MIDI Time Shift in (absolute) Milliseconds
Dear Community I'd like to offset certain MIDI tracks by an exact amount of milli seconds using the "Time Shift" MIDI plugin. It seams however that I can only enter either a timecode value or a value in seconds (not second fractions) or else ticks, which are not absolute as they depend on ...

Thanks for your help, that sounds very useful. I'll try this asap (currently abroad) and let you know if it worked.

Re: Find tempo between two locked markers
Thanks for your answer. I'd like to change the tempo to fit x bars in a specific signature between two locked markers.

Re: Find tempo between two locked markers
Anyone? I could still not figure out how to accomplish this. A solution would be a tremendous help for my current project.
Thanks,
Remo

Re: Bounce to disk
Thank you. "Select all" works fine, but I hoped there would be an easier option. I'm currently routing all the tracks to stem audio tracks which are then routed to a master audio track. The latter one is then used for printing a final audio file which is then exported using the "expor...

Re: Large orchestral template with Vienna Ensemble Pro
Thanks a lot for your very helpful answers and sorry for the late reply (I've been quite busy lately). Using your recommendation for the buffer settings, it works quite well now - at least much more stable than any other DAW I've tried so far. Once my template is set up fully to my taste, I'll think...

Find tempo between two locked markers
Dear Community, I hope this hasn't been asked before (for instance, it seems to go quite into this: http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=46492&p=392081&hilit=tempo+between+markers#p392081). I have a project with quite a few locked markers. What I'd like to do is to adjust ...

Re: Record multiple audio tracks at once
Thanks for your answer. The problem was that I have somehow created overlapping bundles by accident, so the right channel of one bundle was the next bundle's left channel. This lead DP to "link" the "arm" functionality of these two tracks - somehow understandable.

Re: Join multiple MIDI inputs
I have that enabled. But isn't that for recording to multiple tracks simultaneously? What I want to do is to record input from two MIDI ports to 'one' track. Just like Logic, Cubase etc. do it when you enable multiple MIDI inputs (there it's a global setting I think).

Join multiple MIDI inputs
Dear Community, I have a BCF2000 controller / MIDI interface with a MIDI piano connected to it. The controller sends on port 1, and the connected piano sends on port 2. I need to use both simultaneously, for instance for recording a MIDI CC while playing. I can't figure out how to create a device th...

Record multiple audio tracks at once
Hi There, I'm having a very strange effect at the moment: There are two audio tracks, both receive from different outputs of an instrument track. There is an input signal on both. Multi Recording is enabled. This brings me to two questions / problems: 1) I can only arm these two by clicking and drag...

Duplicate a sequence with virtual instruments
Dear Community I have a sequence which consists of MIDI tracks, audio tracks and virtual instrument tracks. I'd now like to duplicate this sequence. This works well, except that the instrument assignments get messed up (each instrument is assigned to one or more audio track's inputs). I know that I ...

Re: Yosemite in the fall
Just to let the crazy bleeding-edge guys of you know: I've tested DP8 on the Yosemite Beta and it works, more or less. However, it's not exactly fast and stable, and has some full screen problems. So I recommend staying away from the Yosemite beta if you have to get work done (surprising, huh?^^).
