Sometimes just writing it all down clarifies a problem. For what I do, modeled instruments are the only realistic choice; Dimension Brass just doesn't do the job. Thanks for your reply. I worry a bit that Wallender doesn't seem to be updating. I had once set my hopes on Synful Orchestra, but then they apparently folded up and disappeared. And I keep hearing that Sample Modeling instruments are too pop-oriented. The difficulty lies in the nature of my writing....
