I just want to record a mono audio track, no plugins, buffer 512.
The UR44 is connected directly to my MacBook Pro 16" 2019 with a USB to USB-C adapter.
DP 11.11; Steinberg UR44; 2019 MacBook Pro 16-inch 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, 32GB RAM, OS Monterey.

Audio glitches while recording
Hello I've never had this problem before. When I record audio it starts well, but after a while it starts to sound glitchy, with reverb, delayed, choppy and all kinds of other stuff... (I don't even know how to describe it). I'm using MacOS Monterey with a Steinberg UR44. I haven't been able to have...

Re: 5.1 in Stereo Headphones - Best practice
Do you have a 6 channel+ interface? I believe you'll need one to get DP to create 6 ch Output. If there's a way around this I too'd be interested in how to do it? I need to set up a 13 channel mix with my 8 ch I/O (to eventually be mixed in a 12.1 venue). Actually, no, I don't. I'm trying to make i...

Re: 5.1 in Stereo Headphones - Best practice
The easiest way (not the best necessarily) would be to import the file into a 5.1 track in DP > add a Master Fader, then select Stereo from the Fold-down button on the Master Fader. You'll only hear it in stereo of course. ...I've seen various surround-for-headphones options out there, but have not...

5.1 in Stereo Headphones - Best practice
Hello.
What would you say it's the best way to listen to 5.1 tracks using stereo headphones in DP?
I don't have a 5.1 setup and I need to preview some mixes that were sent to me. I don't need to hear it at maximum quality, just check the timecode with picture.

Really?! Wow!shaman wrote:Hi Luichy,
That shortcut only works when you select the movie window.
I really thought you could move frame by frame without selecting the movie window.
Thanks for the feedback.

Step frame not working
Hello
I think I disabled some preference because suddenly step frame is not working using the arrow keys of my laptop.
I can still step frame selecting the movie window but it's an annoyance to go constantly to the movie window to do this.
Help anyone?

Re: Laptop keyboard shortcuts
Thanks everyone. I recently found out that I was confused with the shortcuts of another music software. Everything cool now.

Re: Laptop keyboard shortcuts
Go to the setup menu and choose commands. Also take note of the "Masters" in that list. Knowing about those can help when your shortcuts seem to stop working. Thanks for the response. I already knew where the Commands menu was. But I kind of remember (or maybe I'm delusional) that there w...

Laptop keyboard shortcuts
Hello
I always forget how to change keyboard shortcuts in DP to work with a laptop. Does anyone remember?
I remember I go to some settings and assign them, but somehow I don't remember where is it located.
Thanks
