Although I am also not a big fan of Waves, I have to admit that their plugins work flawlessly in every other DAW I tried except DP. Given how popular the Waves plugins are, I am truly surprised that DP hasn't solved the compatibility issues (at least on Windows) yet.

I have a lot of plug-in issues with DP 11 and Win 10. Many of the Waves plugins fail the test. It seems that the VST compatibility remained the same between DP 10 and 11 on the Windows platform.

Both the VST3 and VST2 versions of the Abbey Road Studio plugin from Waves seem to fail detection on DP 10.11 / 10.1. Anyone else can verify this on their Windows setup?

Any update on this?
Is it verified that the S3 actually functions properly with the latest DP9?

Any info would be helpful to a fool like me that is contemplating to give Avid his hard-earned money.....

I have no problems with 9.01 here. Actually, I can say that the UI update is a little better than 8.07 in general. One source of problems could be your graphics card. I used to have some glitches in the past and ever since I updated my system with an nVidia card no more UI issues!

The interesting thing is that DP has all this functionality for audio (through audiobites). One would think that replicating a similar workflow for MIDI wouldn't be too hard to conceive.
