This is tangentially related (sort of) to the Time Stretch broken 5.12 thread, but I thought I'd start a new one rather than tack it on there. I've got Smart Loops Pro Drum Works , ACID edition. My impression was that DP would be able to adjust the tempo of said loops without compression/stretching/...

I've got .WAV bits I'm using for a drum track. I'd like to get them to "snap to" each other in the Tracks window (i.e., end of one .WAV graphically "sticks" to the beginning of the next, creating a seamless transition). But I can't get them to do that--they're snapping to the beg...
I'm a tech writer by trade, and this post originally consisted of big fat paragraphs containing all manner of rantish words about how to write a proper task-based manual. But forget all that, which should be easy, seeing as how you don't have to read what I wrote because I've deleted it. You may tha...
Advance warning: this is a real noob question. (Yes, I RTFM, but not cover to cover, and picking topics from the index hasn't worked...I'm not sure I know what keyword I'm supposed to be looking for, and I've exhausted all the obvious possibilities. So, I'll take either an answer or a friendl...

So, I deleted the MIDI device (a Korg Karma), set it up again in Audio MIDI, and turned Local Control on the Karma off (d'oh!). Now, I can record MI...

After a bit of fiddling I fixed both the .MP3 problem and a hum problem just like the one you mentioned. At least, I think I did. I...
Originally posted by Shooshie: If you already have done all this, and are still having problems, I beg your pardon. But you did say you are a newbie, and I'm figuring that you may be affected by this very common problem of balancing your audio path. I haven't; no need to; I am; and off I go to tack...
Originally posted by hammerman: I've never had a problem. Are you using the same audio outs in iTunes as you are in DP? I'm producing .MP3s directly from DP. The iTunes thing is MIK's issue, not mine. If you are exporting a soundbite, it shouldn't change the volume. If you bounce using LAME make su...
