Re: Cinematic Music and DP
Hi Enrico, Although I do have DP on both the PC and Mac, most of my work is on the Mac. But because DP works the same way on both platforms (mostly, anyway), I think I can offer you some advice. The Vienna libraries should work fine, as long as they and your other libraries are installed correctly. ...

Re: Arise and Awaken
To read the post by stubbsonic, it would seem your piece was a failure, or at least had problems. I disagree. It is what you were inspired to create. I wouldn't change a thing, because not only did I enjoy it , but I think your piece would make a great backing track for a video or short film. Keep c...

I liked it, Mike. What is unusual is that I watched the whole thing. I wish I was half as talented as you.

Hi Mike,
Your music is quite beautiful. The recordings are live performances with real musicians, right?

Re: Track List Column always shrinks
Same with me. I've gone from 10 to 10.01, and I've got the same problem on my Mac and PC.

I have a new 27" iMac on the way!!!
I can't wait to get it. It has an 8 core i9, 64 gig of RAM, a Radeon Vega graphic card, and a 2 terabyte internal ssd. And no T2 security chip to screw things up as in the iMac Pros and other Macs. With 64 gig of RAM, now I'll be able to enable all the tracks in my DP orchestral template. YAAAYYY!!!...

Re: Has anyone gotten kernel panics from an iMac Pro?
The 2018 Mini has the T2 device and I've yet to see a kernal panic. I read up on this before I bought. Posts I saw were vague and poorly written, sometimes a clue about whether a live human wrote it. I saw a lot of other reports of disaster, but the only issue I've experienced is the graphics is no...

Re: Has anyone gotten kernel panics from an iMac Pro?
Yes, Mike (Mr. MIDI Life Crisis, yet another Mike), there is a difference: the infamous T2 security and controller chip. It's in the iMac Pros and newer MacBook Pros. It gets the blame by everyone (except by Apple). The genius at the Apple store told me that they have never seen the problem. I didn'...

Re: Has anyone gotten kernel panics from an iMac Pro?
Thanks for your input, Mike.
I guess no one here has an iMac Pro that has had chronic random crashes. Does anyone here even have an iMac Pro?

Has anyone gotten kernel panics from an iMac Pro?
I'm considering buying an iMac Pro, but there's some buzz on the internet about the new T2 chip causing random kernel panics and crashes. Is this true? Or does your iMac Pro run like a champ? Of course, I'll be running DP on the new machine.
Thanks.

Re: DP10 available on the MOTU site NOW....
I probably will not download all the new sounds for DP10. The fact that they are tied to an iLock is a downer for me.

Re: NAMM NEWS - DP 10 - It's Here!
One thing that I'm excited about is that MOTU finally put the letter name of the notes on the notes themselves in the MIDI editor. Perhaps my suggestions to do so had some effect.
