Re: Facts about using DP Live
Hi @all and thanks for your suggestions, thoughts and opinions making this thread that much interesting. It's time to get back to my opening question, or as dewdman42 wrote: "1 - The keyboard mapping issue someone mentioned before is a real concern. I still don't have a workaround that really w...

Re: Facts about using DP Live
jbyerly1,
seems like YOU are my man ...
I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me HOW to set up two or more VSTs with split point(s) i.e. playing a bass guitar from B0 to B2 and a Piano from C3 to C8.

Facts about using DP Live
Hi forum, as far as I know nobody ever mentioned out if DP REALLY fits the bill of using it as a live performance tool. For example as a keyboard player I need the possibility to split my keyboard up in different areas with different sounds, change velocity curves, etc. What is obviously possible an...

Re: Strange behavior DP 8.01 / iMac
Pyramix is Audio-only with its own Plug-In Algorithms but can also load VST. That's not the matter of fact, sure. Samplitude on the other hand is Audio/MIDI. I've used the last one with Sample Libraries and VIs. These times are gone, because I wanted the Windows-Part on my Mac Book to be audio-only....

Re: Strange behavior DP 8.01 / iMac
Hey kgdrum, I'm very thankful, that you're willing to help me. No need to be sarcastic. I've got another machine here on my legs. MBPR i7. DP running here with external usb 3.0 drive. I've currently made an audio test where I transferred the new project as well as the audio files. I'm running...

Re: Strange behavior DP 8.01 / iMac
Are you kidding?
None taken, but I had those issues with 1 FM8 in DP ... I will be listened by reason, but with a machine like an iMac from nowadays it should not be a big deal to play back a simple wav file.

Re: Strange behavior DP 8.01 / iMac
Hi kgdrum.
Ok, my fault.
You mean every new project (like a "simple wav-file importing as a new project") should be sourced out to another HD?
This is a brave and strange new world for me.

Re: Strange behavior DP 8.01 / iMac
As a wrote: there was nothing to repair.
What's wrong with playing that .wav playback in DP? I still have that cpu prompt at about 30%.
OK. Disk is 1TB, there are 750 GB left.

Re: Strange behavior DP 8.01 / iMac
OMG, you're fast, thanks for your supply.
The HDD is 7200, drivers are up to date.
@kgdrum:
You're right. I'll give it another try. I'm still not able to relate to the thing with the .wav file.
/edit.
there was nothing to repair within my disc permissions.

Strange behavior DP 8.01 / iMac
Hi @ all DP Users. I have an iMac Mid 2009 3.06 GHz and 16 GB RAM running OS 10.8.3 on a 7200 HDD. I have made a clean install of Mountain Lion two days ago, every single Virtual Instrument I use is bought. __________________________ On my Mac I use NI Kontakt (plus Orange Tree Cherry Bass and Scarb...

Building Instrument Racks in DP7
Hi, sorry for my bad English, I'm a German User ... and this will be my first post. After Logic Pro, Ableton and PT, I'm now a very happy new user with DP7. I was looking for an opportunity in DP to build an 8 rack VSTi out of 8 FM8s for a virtual TX 816 machine. One MIDI Track to drive 8 VSTis. It ...
