yes, I have tried loading in a QT that I know worked on my previous system.

Due to a g5 quad crash,I've just finished setting a Mac pro quad with the latest osx and cannot load quicktime movies into Dp7(also latest version). BTW_they open fine on my desktop. Is there something I'm missing? I've upgrade QT to QT pro as well. Everything was fine on my Power pc so I'm baffled....

Has anyone had the problem of Dp crashing when the ram is filled to the brim? such a pain. I understood that 4 gigs of ram was the limit. Should I add more? thanks, guys.

this has happened to me several times. It's inexplicable and a definate Dp "bug". I have also found that deleting the track is the only way. The good news is that it's happened 3 or 4 times over a 5 year period. Ghosts!
