External FX with Ultralite and Cubase
Hi all, I'm having trouble with a combination of Cuemix, Cubase and external FX. I've set my FX up in Cubase no problem with the ins and outs, and it should just work but it doesn't. Does anyone here have any experience with getting hardware FX sends/returns to work with the ultralite mk3? Thanks mark

Re: Connecting multiple MOTU soundcards...
Yeah i think linking them via firewire just enables you to just use the same FW bus.
Also, if i had 2 soundcards, unless one slaved and the other fell behind, how would I choose the two in my DAW? I'm pretty sure I just have only one option in Cubase...
So, makes the linking a bit pointless...

Re: Daisy Chaining and Cue Mix
Hi Jimmy,
I'm wanting to know the exact same thing. Am I going to need another small mixer to integrate the two and get the cans signal?
I have an ultralite and i'm looking to get a 828 to pair up with it. Have you found any info out yet??
thanks

Connecting multiple MOTU soundcards...
Ok, so I have a ultralite mk3, and I need to add some more ins, so I'm getting an 828. Yes you can cascade these over the same firewire bus, but can you just use one set of main outs? Problem being is that I've just sold my mixing desk to downsize, and can only connect my monitors to one unit obviou...

Re: Using Ultralite S/PDIF with O2R
Hey, thanks again! Yeah I'm going to get some HQ leads just to make sure. There's an option to route the digi input to 19/20 so it can be controlled via the faders etc...i thought this would be better for monitoring as i can adjust the MOTU feed level independently. I'm really unsure about going 64 ...

Re: Using Ultralite S/PDIF with O2R
Thanks for the reply... I'm monitoring from my DAW back into the desk from the Ultralite s/dif (through the digi in, into channel 19/20), then the Ultralite is also going to be receiving a digital feed s/pdif simultaneously (2 track out digital) from the mixer for synths/drum machines when I'm recor...

Using Ultralite S/PDIF with O2R
Hello all, I've searched but couldn't find anything. So I'm about to make the jump to 64 bit, and it means ditching my old RME Hammerfall adat lightpipe soundcard. BUT, every cloud has a silver lining and it means I can use my Ultra-lite hybrid mk3... So, I use an old O2R desk just for monitoring/su...
