Re: No Sample Input in BPM
Hi yes, and appears to be a known problem currently being worked on, a sample input appears ( BPMs own output ) after 5-10 minutes, no sign of external inputs though which was one of the main reasons I went for BPM so I could sample external audio or soundflower audio directly in :-( BPM will not s...

Re: 8PRE USB!
In opt converter mode, how does Cuemix FX look with a 896mk3h host and 8PRE ? The same way CueMix FX looks without the 8pre connected. Remember, if the 8pre is in converter mode, it is not acting as an interface. The adat channels of the 896mk3h have EQ and DYN, is their trim then the 8PRE's trim ?...

Re: 8PRE USB!
Combined with an 896mk3H, would the 8PRE be presented in a seperate device ? That depends. If used as an optical converter, the 8pre's analog channels will be transferred to the 896mk3 Hybrid's digital inputs. It will not appear as a separate device. If used as an interface via USB, however, it wil...

Re: 8PRE USB!
Yes, the 8pre USB has digitally-controlled Trim knobs. Since they are digital, they can now be represented in the CueMix FX GUI.

Re: Akai MPK88 MIDI Keyboard Controller and Digital Performe
I was able to test this out with an Akai LPD8, and MPD32. These are different products, but from the same generation (as far as I can tell) as the MPK88. They work fine with DP. Given that, it is unlikely there is any compatibility problem, which means this problem is solvable. Yes, "MIDI monit...

Re: Akai MPK88 MIDI Keyboard Controller and Digital Performe
I tried resetting the input filter and the problem remains. What did you do specifically? Make sure you click the "Set All" button, and not "Clear" (Shooshie actually had it backwards above - clearing the Input filter will cause exactly the behavior you are describing). On that ...

Re: Akai MPK88 MIDI Keyboard Controller and Digital Performe
Hi EveningSky, I just came across this thread and was curious if you were still struggling with this. After reading through this, my guess is that you may have had Input Filter set up to block incoming note data (as Shooshie mentioned). Did you get a chance to look into that? To clarify, you actuall...

Re: MAS plugins windows are cutted!-RESOLVED
FYI, you do not have to change the resolution percentage to fix this. Open the Control Panel, then choose “Appearance and Personalization,” then “Display,” and finally select “Set custom text size (DPI)”.
Turn OFF the windows XP scaling check box.

Re: How to record "what you hear" with ultralite
Hi gusss, The UltraLite-mk3 Hybrid does have a virtual "Return" input that can be used to accomplish this. You can assign this to mirror any output pair on the UltraLite in MOTU Audio Console (check the Return Assign pull-down). In this case, you can set both FL Studio instances to playbac...

Re: 828mk3 and logic pro x
Hi waddo, Two things to do first: 1. In Logic, open the Audio preferences and click on the I/O Assignments tab. Set the Stereo output to Output 9-10. This way, Logic will play directly to the Main outputs on the 828. 2. In MOTU Audio Setup, set Main Out Assign to "Main Out 1-2." Now, you c...

Re: Wish I stayed with DP7.24, at least I was able to use BP
Hello!
I'd like to add that most of the people who are having trouble with BPM are using version 1.05, which was released over two years before DP8's release. There are no known compatibility issues between the current version of BPM (1.5.2) and DP8.
Cheers,

Re: Microbook II and DP's "Waveform Editor" through phones..
Hello sobrilliant,
Go to Studio > Bundles. Click on the Outputs tab and create a stereo bundle for the Aux 1-2 output (if you do not already have one.) Then, move this to the top of the of the list available bundles.
The Waveform editor should now play through all outputs.

Re: 828 mk II outputs offset by one pair. How to fix?
Hi, Just reporting back... I can't find an option for MainStage to read the driver's I/O labels like there is in Logic Pro. If anyone can find one, let me know. Until then, I'll just do what I have been doing. Thanks for your response MOTU_Tech! What happens if you edit the channel labels in MOTU A...
