Re: Changing presets but keeping fx used
Thanks MLC, I think I figured it out :) I tried the "load as layers" thing at the bottom of the main screen, so it lets me have multiple versions of presets for the same instrument, I can then have the same fx on each. Mute the ones I don't like etc. It's a bit long winded, but it's workin...

Re: Triggering loops (and stopping them!)
I've had similar problems and I'm sure there's an inbuilt way to do this within M53. My work around is to use volume automation. Not ideal, but it gets the job done

Changing presets but keeping fx used
Hi folks,
I'm just wondering if it's possible to do the following.
I load up a preset, lets say an EP and I add an arp and some reverb etc. I like what the arp and reverb are doing and i want to change the preset instrument, but keep my FX. Is this possible?
Thanks

Re: Multi out MIDI trigger
Hi Hugy, Thanks for the quick reply Hugy. :) So can I ask you, where do I see the MIDI channels in M53? And I can use Perf to set the range of the notes that will trigger a particular instrument? That's cool. Thanks a lot. I'll check that out. Vinny On the bottom left of each Part (in the Parts lis...

Multi out MIDI trigger
Hi folks, When I set up Machfive as a plugin in Logic (multi out) If I record MIDI notes, the MIDI triggers each of the instruments I have selected in M53. Is there a way to have the MIDI notes just trigger one instrument and have a second instrument triggered by different MIDI notes? That would sav...

Re: MachFive 3 Discoveries...
I'm running it on an almost 2 year old imac i5 on 8GB of RAM with no problems. In 32 bit mode though. I love it :) But I'm still trying to get to grips with all it can do. I'd love more detailed and in depth video tutorials. Here's something I did with just the samples from Machfive, for anyone that...

Re: M5-3... uh oh...
The top track in my Soundcloud link below is just MF3 samples.
These aren't the premium instruments, just a selection of some of the sounds.
Don't be put off by the eqing and mixing
MOTU cannot be held accountable for that.....

Re: M5-3... uh oh...
Can any of you early adopters post if the readability of MV3 has improved over v2? Fonts on the main screen were so tiny I had to to stop using v2. the browser in v2 IS readable to me with my old eyes. Thanks. Frank I haven't used MF2 so I don't know how difficult it was, but I have no problems wit...

Re: MACH FIVE 3 IS LIVE!!!
That's a pity, it would be handy to see everything you're working on side by side, but I'm not giving it back :) Stretch is incredible. We had a vocal track with no backing vocals, so we used stretch to create a new vocal version in a different key. Perfect timing etc. I'm amazed this thing hasn't t...
