I can't deny I'm not aging so gracefully. It's getting harder for me to remember 18 notes ago.

On our rigs, we keep the Sync Recorded MIDI to Patch Thru checked on the past 18 months.
Wow, that is early.

Re: Stretch MIDI?

bkshepard wrote: Sat Mar 15, 2025 3:36 am I’m trying to understand why the complexity of going through all those steps of the workaround is better than simply grabbing the notes (actually the notes’ velocities as we’ve learned in this thread) and dragging them to the correct location. It’s incredibly easy.
That is what we do.

Re: Stretch MIDI?

Grab the group of notes velocities at bottom of MIDI editor page, and then just hold control key down while you drag left to right whether you want shorter or longer phrases. Hold shift key down too, if you dont wanna have the notes velocities accidentally move while dragging.

This all bodes sorta well for any coming Mac Pros. As they get back to giving us pro sized ram amounts and cores. Yeah will be costly. So was my last one.

Indeed James. I love and have MANY of their tools. But HATE the site and the Central thing. Really poor.

Re: Remote for vocal booth?

Yeah MIDI via iPad is a great way to go these days. A few decades ago, our engineers had each booth and cutting area with MIDI ports in wall plates. (as if they were XLRs). And we used a really compact tool called the JL Cooper CS-32 Minidesk. CRAZY amount of stuff it could do, though so very small....

4.0 on DP is stunning. Especially on mtiMAX. They did a fantastic job. Only one or two bugs so far, and they are minor.
