Mackie Control Universal w/ 828MkII
I cannot seem to get my 828MKII to respond to a Mackie Control Universal via the 828 MIDI I/O using DP 4.61 The MCU responds to commands coming from but I don't seem to be having any luck sending to. I see the MIDI LED in and out flash on the 828 and test setup in audio MIDI setup does not show acti...

Unit was already running 2.1.2, it seems to be loosing connection between the 828 and Audio/MIDI setup as test setup does not receive MIDI info but 828 shows activity via the in LED. Works with other USB interfaces MTP/AV, M-Audio 2x2, and thru the MIDI ports of an Oxygen 8. Thank you the response, ...

Re: Ken's Korner Grows Up! A user representative at MOTU fo
I was very tired when I wrote it, sorry if it was confusing. The story was to show the pony is loved. "My point is I have frequently had the opportunity to ask..." I wish there was a similar face-to-face communication method for MOTU; people seem more responsive when they see/touch it for ...

My two ducats worth••¦ I have had many opportunities to look a P%$ T@@!$ rep in the face and ask why doesn••™t this do this or that. I have even asked why doesn••™t their ware do what DP could do. And asked it in a Digi class in their Digi house, the one next to Roche (Not recommend...

Re: Extremely unhappy with the state of Motu and MIDI
Does anyone have, "an other than" MOTU MIDI interface that is experiencing these phenomena? I question hardware as a culprit because playing the same files on the same machine using OS9 / DP3.11 running more plugs and VI••™s seem to work solid. So it would be logical to me that OSX o...

Bigger ears hear more, so is the problem really just a side affect of bigger diaphragms?

Re: A new Hypothesis about the Shortcomings of DP and Host b
What about the same plugs with ridiculously different cost for the two? i.e. Waves. Is that maybe why Digi made Bomb Factory proprietary with their wares for stability? I know of a few people pissed about that. Wow, just makes my wallet hurt thinking about stuff like this. Kind of off the subject bu...

Re: A newbie question, involves technical issues.
From what I've read, you could (this is the super ghetto method and not recommended)use the line input(built in)to your Mac. Keep the volume down on your keyboard and SLOWLY bring it up to a useable level. Use DP audio monitor to check for clipping. All you will need is a mono 1\4 to stereo 3.5 mm c...

Re: How Large can a Wave file be ?
I have worked with SDII 24/48 files a little longer than 1 hour, DSP took a lot longer to process. It worked though.
Hope this helps
