Re: Supreme Court ruling on P2P announced

As you know, the Second Amendment allows us the right to bear arms... Staying with the analogy, there are millions of guns in the U.S., less than 1% will be used in an illegal activity. And for the record, I hate the NRA, I hate guns, and I hate people who kill Bambi!!! -Matthew You yanks don't eve...

Re: Sampletank 2.0 ongoing issues w/ 4.6

Over @ the KVR support forum, I was told (by Tonio I think?) to close the performance window in DP. I have found that if I close everything but the Tracks Overview & Mixer windows, I can get Sonik Synth to work. Haven't bothered installing S Tank just yet. BTW, I am still n DP 4.12 & OSX 10....

Re: OSXAudio is dead, long live osxrecording.com

True enuf, I don't disagree with that at all. In terms of communities, I tend to think that communities end up being what the members want them to be, so its up to the individuals to make it what they want/need. And hey, I too hope OS Audio comes back and I did/do like that community. Tho I must say...

Re: OSXAudio is dead, long live osxrecording.com

To be honest, apart from the blue (my fave colour), I think OSX Recording looks a lot better. Frankly, I like a site that gives good ad (as long as the ads don't get in the way of information exchange) and I think that OS X recording handles that balance pretty well. ...and besides all that, one of ...

glad to be of some help to somebody. Usually everyone around here is helping me sort out things, so its good to know I can make a little contribution from time to time. You might want to edit your post to take your e-mail address down, otherwise you will probably get swamped with spam - spam bots tr...

Re: A little VI help, please...

Could be worth a look, esp with their 'special offer', you can get their piano & Kontakt for $438, or just their piano library for $99. Its kinda hard to tell from their site, but it looks like their piano uses NI's Kontakt player-engine, and I can't see if you could use their piano library in K...

Re: A sythny sound question

I have a current fave that I think everyone should get, its CronoX3.

Cheap (for what you get) and extremely versatile. A very smart guy wrote a little review of it here.

Re: Drum Editor...

I don't get the pattern brush, I always end up 'painting' over an area more than once (by accident) -its way too imprecise for me, I guess I'd rather just use my keyboard to get the patterns in.
