I had a same problem few days ago. it made me going crazy ;; I bought Gigabyte P67 motherboard, that was the problem in my case. after changing motherboard to ASUS P8P67, it works fine. try to change your motherboard. it will help. :o if you can't, just put your PCI card in different PCI slot on you...

I solved the problem.
I've changed motherboard to ASUS P8P67. It works fine with PCI424 + MOTU 1296.
If your PCI card doesn't work well, just try to change your motherboard.
