Re: Using CueMix FX and an 896 in a live situation?
I'm using 896mk3 and Adat pres since over 2 years... for liveshow mixing and recording. Cuemix FX is bullet proof. but... When I started to use iTunes alongside Cuemix FX and routed iTunes also out the 896mk3, doing anything in Cuemix FX resulted in hickups of iTunes... unusable. That might be some...

Re: Motu 896 and logic channel output
Why do you need to send them to separate outputs?
For whatever reason it is, the way your going about it will do nothing. Outputs don't correspond to inputs

Using CueMix FX and an 896 in a live situation?
Hi all, As the title says I'm looking into using an 896mk3 hybrid and cuemix (+ an 8pre or something like or 2 8in XLR pre's for even more ins) for live work. I run a wedding band that's predominantly a 4 piece band (guitar/voc, keys/guitar/voc, bass and drums) but we go out as up to an 11 piece wit...

Re: Is GSI VB3 crashing DP or is it another issue?
I exported the MIDI via save as and then imported it into logic and fixed any issues and then drop the audio back into DP for mixing and it sounds larvely
Shame its such an arse on!

Re: Is GSI VB3 crashing DP or is it another issue?
Ah that's unfortunate. It recorded with absolutely no problems. When it does play it sounds fantastic but I can't get it to play long enough to do any work on it.
How can I get the MIDI data out so I can fiddle with it in logic then?

Is GSI VB3 crashing DP or is it another issue?
Hi all, I've finished laying down some tracks for a funk tune I'm working on and have now come to mix it but after saving the project and coming back to it. It crashes DP sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few minutes. Sometimes it will let me play the recording for a while but then as soon as...

Sibelius users be careful with the font update. I had to reinstall all the Sibelius specific fonts after this update. Otherwise all working nicely as others have pointed out!

My latest jazz/fusion/blues mix
This is a recording I've done for my BMus degree. It's my friends band HCW. Was recorded using ProTool 8LE then dropped the wavs in DP7.22 and it hasn't touched PT since! Let me know what you think! http://soundcloud.com/thefunkregulators/hcw-thats-what-she-said" onclick="window.open(this....

Latency problems even on smallest buffer.
Hi all, I've just started to come across an odd issue after a few months of problem free usage. I'm using DP7.22 on my 2010macpro with the Focusrite Saffire Pro26i/o. I've just gone to record the singer of a band I've been working with for my university course. When using using mic even on the small...

Any of you guys do the whole "online studio tracks" thing?
Hi all, I'm reasonably new here so I hope this is the right forum... I'm doing research for a university module called professional studies so I'm studio areas of online music business opportunities- mainly teaching music online (directly via Skype etc or indirectly through video lessons) and "...

Re: Pitch correction with imported audio
Good tip indeed! I hope i won't have to be doing that though. It's vocals I'm worried about!

Re: Pitch correction with imported audio
Yeah absolutely, will only be using it if absolutely necessary. We haven't got great monitoring just yet so i can foresee a few pitch issues mainly on my own part. And if the other parts are good enough it would be really handy to have some live tracks.
