Re: Audition selection - make it follow MIDI CC?
Yeah, I have verified all event chasing is turned on - both at my studio and at the clients. Searched the manual as well to see if there are specific settings for audition selection, and so far have come up empty. I dont know if it matters, but my client is still on 9.02 where I'm on 9.5, but I reme...

Audition selection - make it follow MIDI CC?
I have a weird situation. I use "Audition selection" all the time, and in my studio, on a MIDI track it will follow the MIDI CC's I have programmed. So for example if I have programmed a crescendo via CC1, when I audition the selection it will not only playback the notes, but will playback...

Re: Quickly open multiple MIDI regions in MIDI editor?
Are you referring to the "open one MIDI editor for each sequence with all MIDI editors" preference? If so that is on but I still must use the key command (not double click) in order to view all selected MIDI regions in a single MIDI editor.

Re: Add node for all CC's at selection or cursor?
Thank you! yeah, this is what I'm currently doing, though I was hoping for a way to do this to 50+ tracks in one go instead of having to go one by one.

Add node for all CC's at selection or cursor?
Is there a way to add MIDI CC nodes for each MIDI CC in use at selections or cursor? I often use CC1, 7 & 11 for shaping performances and unfortunately in scoring to picture when the picture changes you have to make adjustments, but when I snip out bars that have MIDI CC shaping nodes, it will r...

Re: Quickly open multiple MIDI regions in MIDI editor?
Figured it out. apparently if you select but double click on a region to open it in the MIDI editor, it will only show the region you actually clicked on, where if you use the key command to open the MIDI editor it will open all the selected regions in the MIDI editor. I dont understand why clicking...

Quickly open multiple MIDI regions in MIDI editor?
Is it possible to quickly open multiple MIDI regions in MIDI editor? I thought I could select multiple regions in tracks view (using shift select) and double click on the last selected track and it would open them all in the MIDI editor. Unfortunately its only opening the one I selected last. I know...

Transferring my settings to a different studio
I (might) be hired to work at another composers studio and want to bring as much of my common workflow as possible with me. I've of course exported my key commands, but what do I do about window sets? Is it possible to export mine and add them to his (without replacing his?) Anything else I should c...

What did I do? Audio Waveform view now on the bottom?
I dont know what I did but instead of my audio waveforms being displayed in the middle of the track, they are now on the bottom https://www.dropbox.com/s/16d6kkbvsbxcwuc/Screen%20Shot%202017-07-03%20at%2011.57.37%20PM.png?dl=0 I've tried searching the display preferences, but nothing popped out. Loo...

Re: Raise or lower volume of MIDI tracks with key command
yeah fdco, this is what I currently do (assigned mine to H). Was hoping to find a quicker alternative similar to the bite volume key command with audio. Not a big deal as it seems to remember you last settings, but since I use multiple MIDI CC's it would be nice to be able to save presets and recall...

Re: Split at selection boundaries?
Good idea. Tested and confirmed it works for audio, but unfortunately for MIDI it doesn't seem to do anything (note remains unchanged).

Split at selection boundaries?
I'm looking for a quick way to split at selection boundaries. For example, I have a MIDI note that lasts for 2 bars, but I want to select from 1.3-2.3 and have it create splits in the note at these points. Right now I'm manually moving my cursor to those positions and using the "split at counte...

Raise or lower volume of MIDI tracks with key command
I LOVE the fact that you can adjust bite gain via key command (Control + shift+ up/down arrows changes bite volume by .5db). Is there a similar function for MIDI tracks, either velocity, MIDI CC data, or both? Currently I'm calling up the Velocity control panel and manually scale to 90% or 1110%, an...
