Re: Windows 7 32/64 drivers released! Post your experiences.
I only wish I could figure out the manufacturer of the macbook pro ieee 1394 card (i think it's all one unit along with the usb and fw800 slots) so I could install a legacy driver... Any thoughts? Apple don't list their drivers for windows for the firewire and can't find a manufacturer anywhere.

Re: Win 7 + Bootcamp + 828 mk II
OK, so it's working, but the latency is limited to pretty much 1024ms, so that kind of sucks. I thought re-installin the apple firewire drivers for windows might fix it up, but I can't find them anywhere. In fact I can't even find the specs for my mac's firewire, or who manufactures the card... All ...

I recommend disabling User Account Control (do it in the Users control panel. Bring the slider all the way down and then restart your computer). THANKS ULTIMATE OUTSIDER You are a legend. That did it. Also I right clicked and selected run as administrator, as I read in some other forum that win7 is...

Re: Win 7 + Bootcamp + 828 mk II
Sorted: It's a priveleges thing. So, on the advice of another memeber here, I went into User control accounts or whatever and took it down to ZERO. Then when I ran the setup file, instead of double clicking I right clicked and selected 'run as administrator' It seems that even though I am the only ...

Win 7 + Bootcamp + 828 mk II
So I have a macbook pro with snow leopard (as of yesterday) and a totally fresh install of Win 7, on bootcamp. Turns out the new firewire drivers won't run on Win 7 under bootcamp. in fact, it won't even complete the installation process! Which baffles me. Has anyone else had any similar problems wi...

Awesome, thanks, I'll try that.
I was just pretty disappointed just now when I rang Motu Support for the first time and their answer was "We don't support Boot Camp installations"...
Bummer.

Re: Windows 7 32/64 drivers released! Post your experiences.
Ok, so I finally got Win 7, and thought I'd be all good after the terrible experience that was the Vista 64 bit firewire drivers (for the 828 mkII)... Installed Windows 7 clean, all good, then first thing installed the new Motu 64 bit drivers for Win 7, and it crashed halfway through install! LAME. ...

Re: motu fw/usb driver 1414 problem
When I run the driver install it says there is software missing that the installer needs to run. Does anyone know what this would be? It also won't uninstall for apparently the same reason... It all looks installed, but won't detect the 828mkII when I plug it in. Which heavily bums me out. And I can...

Re: NEW STICKY FOR DRIVER DOWNLOADS!!
OK... Hi there. first post, although I've had a MOTU for a while and really enjoyed it (when I can). So here's a sad story that I hope will have a real happy ending: About 5 years ago I went to a guy who claimed to be an 'audio computer expert', who could 'build me a great laptop' for doing audio wi...
