Enlarging the Spectrogram in CueMix FX
I seem to remember being able to enlarge the spectrogram in CueMix FX (you could pop it out into its own Window roughly the same size as CueMix). But it seems like in the newer versions that option has either been buried somewhere or its been removed completely. Does anyone know if this is still pos...

UltraLite mk3 hardware not recognized after Lion install
So I just installed Lion and now OS X does not seem to recognize my UltraLite mk3 (via FireWire). Usually when I turn on the UltraLite OS X will recognize it and start up CueMix. Now it just does nothing. If I open CueMix, it acts as though there are no devices connected. The MOTU Audio Setup applic...

Re: Confused about headphone outputs on UltraLite-mk3
No thoughts on this? Seems like it should be a pretty common thing, thanks!

What should standard output levels look like in CueMix?
I have a set of KRK RP5s as my monitors. When I first turned them on after buying them they were incredibly loud so I used their volume knobs on the back to bring them down. They are at about -26 db. They go down to -30 db. They still seem incredibly loud though and I'm not sure if this is all corre...

Re: Confused about headphone outputs on UltraLite-mk3
So I was able to kind of figure this out. I just had to set the "Phones" menu to Main Out 1-2 and now I have a headphone output that mirrors the Main output. But what if I want to mute my monitors and retain the headphone output? Thanks for any help!

Confused about headphone outputs on UltraLite-mk3
So the manual states that by default the headphone ouptut on the front of the UltraLite is basically an exact duplicate of the 1-2 main outs. However when I plug headphones in, I am hearing nothing through them. Is there something special I need to do to get audio out of the headphone output? I've b...

Audio drops out when moving the UltaLite-mk3
My UltraLite-mk3 is only about 3 days old but today I noticed a strange problem. I was playing music through iTunes and I moved the UltraLite on my desk just slightly- only a slight a nudge, I didn't pick it up or jar it significantly. As soon as it moved the audio dropped out and I was unable to ge...

Calibrating audio levels for a noob
So today I made the switch from my old PC to a new MacBook Pro with the MOTU UltraLite-mk3. I am loving everything so far but am totally lost about how to make sure all my levels are set up properly. I ask because right now everything seems really loud and I'm not sure what the right method is for c...
