Re: How do you handle articulations?
No THAT is the post I was waiting for :D. Would you be willing to part with your presets for touch os? I'm more than happy to donate money towards the effort ;) Sorry, I'm just now seeing this. I drifted away from using the EW and CineSamples stuff in favor of Spitfire so that's what my iPad is foc...

Re: Dumb question about audio edit layer in sequence window
My "dumb question" is:
In [Commands > Continuous Data] how does "Edit Xxxxxx (CC xx) In Place" differ from "Edit Xxxxxx"?

Re: Clear MIDI Controller Greyed Out
OK: I have no problems attaching a MIDI controller to a fader in the mix window, but when I then go to select the un-attach MIDI controller it is grayed out. I checked the manual and this should be available. What am I missing here? I am using a PPC Mac with version 5.11. Thanks in advance for the ...

Re: How do you handle articulations?
I'm glad to be of any help! I've made iPad TouchOSC templates for articulation switching. Basically, on the iPad I have a layout for each library (Spitfire, CineSamples, and LASS) that look mostly identical to each other, but under the hood trigger what each library asks for. The legato button for S...

Re: How do you handle articulations?
Are you doing the change with the "By CC Range" tool? How does that work when the nki is already locked to UACC? I am working on fixing the 'and is a combination patch'. My elderly brain cells are showing. Arghhh. Yes, that's how I do it. So, in the example of correcting the Solo Horn's M...

Re: How do you handle articulations?
Hey there PM. Tis actually the opposite in UACC. The CC#s and assignments are indeed set in stone. That is one of the things I like about it. I always know what is where from instrument to instrument. But the drawback is, there are maybe 10 UACC assigns needing fixed cause they are assigned wrong, ...

Re: How do you handle articulations?
Thanks for responding labman. I agree with you on the beauty of the Air Lyndhurst tone, and the brilliance of the UACC. Being able to change an articulation's UACC assignment when needed makes life so much easier. With the Hollywood series keyswitch assignments set in stone the way they are, being a...

Re: How do you handle articulations?
kdm- There is an app for Mac called Transmidifier that does much of what Expression Maps do for Cubase. You will still need separate tracks in DP for each of your Hollywood Strings articulations, but you can input into just one track. Transmidifier will take the output of the DP track and, dependin...

Re: Wish I could key bind...
Do any of these programs work in DP's mini menus? For instance, can you set up a macro for changing custom view filters or mixing board layouts?

Re: The Top 10 Most Requested Features
Something like the Expressions Map in Cubase, and few more continuous data icons isn't too much to ask, is it?

Re: Best input device for DP?
As always, thanks for your insights Shooshie.
I was just scribbling in notes in QuckScribe and thought about that cool app "NotateMe" and said to myself how great it would be if there was something like that for a desktop. I would imagine something similar exists as a stand alone item.

Re: Best input device for DP?
Has anyone tried the Dell Touch Screen with DP? I've seen a youtube of it with Cubase 7. The idea of mixing and QuickScribing without "mousing around" is interesting indeed.

Re: Switching Chunks and only Mixing Board switches
+1. I had enough of it to call MOTU tech support, but (lucky me) I got the guy with the amazingly unhelpful attitude who likes to waste the first five minutes of the phone call arguing that the problem doesn't exist. So, I deal with it by taking a quick detour through a different screen set. It pays...
