Yeah I looked at that page but it didn't seem like the ability to drag the grove into DP was working. did that work for you?philbrown wrote:https://www.fxpansion.com/webmanuals/bf ... rooves.htm

Re: BFD3 Groove Editor vs DP Drum Editor
BFD can use a MIDI track or it can use its internal groove editor. The groove editor has got some really nice advantages like no need to map the notes to the different drums. Since it's all internal it just names everything properly. Also it lets you paint in lots of rudiments. Makes it really easy ...

BFD3 Groove Editor vs DP Drum Editor
So I just got a copy of BFD3 and I torn between using their groove editor and the DP drum editor. My initial plan was to build the beats in BFD3 then drag the blocks into a MIDI track in DP and arrange them from there but I can't appear to be able to drag the MIDI tracks from BFD to DP. I've got it ...

Re: Nektar Panorama and DP
Well all I really want out of it is smart control of VIs. I don't need to control DP with it as much as I want the faders and knobs to control the plugins. If it just did what the LX series did I would be happy. Hell, info the LX61 had semi weighted keys I'd be happy.

Nektar Panorama and DP
Hey everybody, I found a good deal on eBay for a Nectar Panorama P6. I was wondering if anybody is using it with DP. I know it doesn't have the built in integration like Cubase and Reason have with it but can you get any of that functionality with DP? Really I would be happy if it just functioned li...

Slowing down a drum performance
I've got a multitrack drum performance and after finishing the session and starting on the guitars I've noticed the tempo it just a bit too fast. Its the at most the different between 158 bpm and 150 bpm. I tried using the adjust soundbite to tempo command but everytime I do the top and bottom snare...

Re: CPU Optimization
Thanks Dave I had a few other questions about pre-rendering. 1) If I have a UAD Plug on a track can that pre-render since it's processed via the card? 2) I thought I read somewhere that the built in MAS plugs that come with DP don't support pre-rendering. Is that correct. Granted the only built in D...

Re: CPU Optimization
How do I make sure that the other sequences are not play enabled. I don't have any V-racks enabled. The first few sequences have a Kontakt instance or two but they are just on a track. Correct me if I'm wrong but the UAD plugs are a double edged sword. They take all the processing off the computer, ...

Re: CPU Optimization
Yep, Audio is on an external 7800 rpm FW 800 Drive. One thing I thought of is as the song developed from demo to final project I put different versions as different sequence chunks. Are all the sequences running simultaneously? Is there a way to export a sequence into a new file?

CPU Optimization
Hey all, Well for the first time in life with DP since version 6 I'm running into CPU issues. To be fair, this is the first time I've put together a project this big with live drums. I've got about 22 audio tracks with 6 sub mixes before hitting the master. Most tracks have one or two plugs on them ...

Re: Sharing work between two studios.
Thanks for all the help. I'll defiantly try all of the above. Sorry i asked the question and then kinda vanished. Went on vacation for a week then had trouble with the day job which put the recording off. But gobbler sounds like a good match for us.
Again thanks.
Again thanks.

Sharing work between two studios.
Hey everybody. I've been a long time performer user but I'm working on my first full scale album. We are recording the drums at the the drummers home studio and the guitars, bass, and vocals at mine. Both of us are using performer and I was wonder if anybody had any tricks for sharing the sessions i...

motu Ultralight & presonus Eureka sync issues
I'm having a strange issue with my motu ultralite mk1 and my eureka. For some reason when using the spdif out of the eureka into the ultralite I can't record at 88.2khz. When I do all I get in noise. It works fine on 96khz. Has anybody had a similar issue. Eureka worked fine with an mbox and the ult...
