I'm using a MacBook Pro late 2015, it has a (from memory) 2.8GHz i7 processor, it's up to date with the most recent version of MacOS, and it has 16GB of 1600MHz RAM.

Wow! That's pretty incredible performance. At 512, I can absolutely guarantee that with Logic Pro, there's no way I could track any kind of part.
