Re: Replacing Firewire Ports 828MK2

firewire chip, you can get a replacement chip its available from mouser and other electronic component suppliers. all you need to do then is find an surface mount rework specialist. I have reworked a few 828's and its been the firewire chip.

Forum Cleaning.

Just to let you all know I have begun cleaning the forum up, this section of the motunation forum has decended into a free for all with many questions constantly repeated and duplicated over and over again, deflamatory comments against users, Motu and UVI. As of now James has given me permission to ...

Re: DP 8 Wish List/Request

my lynch comment reffered to those who were ruining the bpm section james. if you remember I PM'd yourself about what was going on and the final few comments left by the member you removed from the forum. since the removal of the worst offender the bpm section has become a more sensible section, and...

Re: DP 8 Wish List/Request

I will clarify a few things here simply because perhaps for once i feel the need to. At the end of my post where I added the remark about code and components it was simply because i was giving myself time out from the thread so that at a later time i could when in a better frame of mind come back in...

Re: DP 8 Wish List/Request

Re: bpm hardware (update)

ssp, are you interested in selling units to bpm users? btw,how we're you able to get all the cc functions working with your controller? a kit is possible, but it wouldnt be cheap, it would involve making cases, end panels and pcbs also getting components in bulk. let me check into it and get back t...
